According to the university's public relations report: The welcoming ceremony for the new students of Qom University of Technology was held at the shrine of Hazrat Ma'soumeh (peace be upon her) with the presence of university officials and a group of local students from the province.
During this ceremony, Dr. Rezai Noor, President of Qom University of Technology, congratulated the auspicious days of Rabi al-Awwal and the new students on their educational advancement, stating: This year, Qom University of Technology has made a significant progress by attracting international students, which is a great honor for this university.
He added: Qom University of Technology, as a growing university, has achieved many honors, including the establishment of the university's publications, a 33% increase in faculty members, a 37% growth in the publication of scientific papers, an eleven-place rise in the ranking of Qom University of Technology among other industrial universities in the country, the selection of Qom University of Technology as the secretariat of the Mathematical Physics Conference, and the selection of Qom University of Technology as the secretariat for industry relations in the province, all of which are considered honors and advancements of this university.
Continuing, Hojjatoleslam Dr. Ghorbani Moghaddam, Head of the Office of the Supreme Leader’s Representative at Qom University of Technology, stated: This university is one that befits the holy city of Qom. A university that, in addition to research and study, places great importance on religious and spiritual issues. For example, the national mourning event held recently by Qom University of Technology was very well received by students across the country.
He added: God willing, with the assistance of Hazrat Ma'soumeh (peace be upon her), we will be able to present committed and devout engineers to society.
Finally, Dr. Ghaembari, the educational and research deputy of Qom University of Technology, explained the educational issues of concern to students and the importance of skill development for them at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
